It's good to talk

Life can seem hard, and speaking to friends, family or colleagues may not always be an option. Making the decision to seek help can feel daunting, but by taking that first step there can be long-term benefits for you and those around you.

You may have a specific problem, need help to cope with a crisis, want to improve relationships, or to develop a different way of living. You may have an eating disorder, a problem with food, or worries about your weight or body image. I offer you the opportunity to talk about these issues and explore difficult feelings with a qualified professional.

My approach is psychodynamic. This means that together, in a safe and confidential setting, we will look at your present difficulties and consider how your past relationships and existing patterns of thinking and behaviour may impact on you. In relation to issues with eating, food and weight, I offer an approach which focuses both on the symptoms and underlying issues. Our work together offers you the possibility of personal growth and change.

You may be wondering if I am the right person to help you. Have a look through my website and if you feel that you would like to contact me, I would be pleased to hear from you.
